I follow a lot of crafty type people on Instagram for the obvious craft content.
I’ve found in the last few years that a lot of political and social issues have come up more and more. Every now and then I’ll unfollow when it’s overwhelming or something I can’t get behind. Sometimes there’ll be posts saying a certain number of people unfollowed because of a previous post, and they are pleased to not have people like that following their content and I’ve gone back to see what I missed 😆
Most of these accounts are businesses which seems counterproductive, but that’s their prerogative I guess.
When/why did craft get so controversial?
