I did yoga last night - I joined a local studio earlier this year where I pay a set amount per fortnight and it gives me 3 classes. I’m not very good at making it there so have prebooked now so I have to turn up.
My Tuesday night class is a Vinyasa Flow and I really like the teacher and her style - it’s a combo of lovely yogic mindfulness, breathing etc as well as a fucking hard workout and I was sweating and felt strong afterwards. Sadly DH had bought chocolate while I was out as I was feeling very slim and virtuous after class but couldn’t resist.
@LadySybilVimes - my sister bought this amazing looking treadmill that is really just a walking pad - no handles or anything. I quite like the look of it as it’s so compact. Hope you can get it fixed. I have tried couch to 5k before but my body gets too sore from being jolted (not a natural runner) and I never get past the 5-ish minute runs. Also my running is more like a puffy shuffly jog. It did do wonders for kickstarting my weight loss though. Good luck.
