I can’t even remember when they did these things, it’s all a distant memory thank goodness!
Showers… I do remember always yelling out to the eldest to turn on the water and turn off the water for their procession of showers… maybe they were 8, 6, and 4ish, but with the 8yo doing the taps.
Cutlery… it’s not a thing for me tbh. Table manners yes, but cutlery usage I never really corrected them, probably because no one ever corrected me so I probably wouldn’t even know what to teach them! I know one of my kids had their dad laugh at them apparently for the way they hold their cutlery, so I daresay they’re doing it ‘wrong’, but I don’t really care.
Packing lunches they did in lower primary, can’t remember when. Making breakfast was probably similar age. And yet here I am back to making the 16yo breakfast lunch and dinner and serving it to her in her room 😫 Bloody depression. It’s like having a toddler again.
