Scotland - Definition of woman will include trans people to increase equality

In order to increase female representation on public boards, the definition of the term “woman” is to be broadened to include transgender people in legislation.

The board can be 100% male if 50% identify as being a trans woman. Females can legally be excluded.

This is not progress!

It’s dreadful. SNP MP Kristy Blackman actually stated that she would consider a board made up of 50% men and 50% transwomen to be equal representation!

I’ve just been reading about a brand new political party in Scotland called Alba which apparently is woman friendly AND wants independence. I’ll see if I can link something. Sounds interesting.

What is happening in Scotland is horrifying. The Greens and the SNP are neck deep in with the TRA’s and want to see women canceled. The very definition of privilege - oh but I still have a voice so what is the problem?

100s of years ago Scotland was burning witches at a rate that far surpassed some of its european neighbours …religion, superstition was a cause - but hatred of women was at the heart of it - hatred but something more - fear, and jealousy of us - maybe nothing has changed
