We have a cocker spaniel and he’s been such a great choice for our kids’ first dog. He’s happiest by our side, whether we’re sitting watching TV or running around the property. He’s a really in good size - one of my stipulations was small enough that the kids could easily push it away if you needed. He rarely barks, he wants to to be friends with everyone, and he’s easy to train. Everyone always says what a lovely dog he is and how well behaved he is.
Worst thing is the brushing but we’re also rural so more difficult to get groomed and we’re lazy!
