It’s never too late!!!! If you want to, do it! Don’t be put off by the apparent “blokey culture” and mad snowboarders, ignore them. They’re probably locals and of course they’re gonna amazing and confident. Get a female ski instructor. Stay away from those instructors who flex and ideally get on “packed powder” so sadly, not Australia. I’m not particularly great (I too started late) but after a session or 2 with a good instructor (it’s not 2nd nature and probably will never be) I too can do blacks like no ones business.
As for horseradish, again, if you want to, do it. Go! Ask for a gentler, older horse. Get all the exhilaration and none of the danger.
Of course, all of this is subject to discretionary, available funds, so a privilege to do. But, life is short and one day, we’ll be too sick and old to do anything. Squeeze enjoyment from our lives, in whatever ways we can. I raise a toast …….
