RichardParker I miss the feeling I used to have in my teens, of everything being completed- I’d done my homework, cleaned my room, had clothes ready for the next day. As a grown up, I never feel like that. Even on a good day, there’s always so much more to do.
that’s prolly a bit deep for the thread.
I don’t remember that feeling!
But I did come to the end of my ‘urgent to do’ list the other day and it was quite depressing. In the end it was probably because my ‘non urgent to do’ list has all the boring stuff on it like decluttering whereas the ‘urgent to do’ had all my interesting work stuff. But still, I had a mini crisis - “it’s like I’m retiring, this is what it’ll be like when I don’t have kids, I wonder if I’ll just die soon”.
Now I’ve just resigned myself to procrastinating.
