Now that @NightHawk got me scrolling through TheMotherboard twitter - I found this beautiful article from the ABC - I love this. I got rid of all social media when my kids were little - probably partly due to this whole thing of comparing to others. My life looked a lot more like these photos than the ones you generally see on social media.

I feel like we’re only just coming to terms with how motherhood intersects with feminism and capitalism. We have it so much easier than our foremothers - we have it so much harder than they did.
