What is the correct nickname for chicken parmigiana - Parma or parmi?
As a proud Victorian I call it a parma but I know this is considered controversial in other states 👀
Parmi. That is all. WA.
Here in Jetsonistan it is known as “Chicken Pyjamas”.
That does seems like a reasonable compromise.
VIC - I think I call it a parma if I shorten it.
Vic. Parma. Cant say the full word properly 😅
i say parma
I don’t feel like ‘parmi’ is actually a thing in Victoria.
Until a few years ago I’d never heard the term (always parma) and I’ve only ever heard it used in discussions like this.
Hmm. Still parmi.
The tribe has spoken, you are Rong.
And everyone agrees with me that potato cakes are potato cakes, right?
A think you just posted when it would be dinner time in WA and SA so all the people eating their parmi weren’t online to disagree with you!
er…..no? scallops,for the win!
What are potato cakes 👀
Scallops have something to do with seafood @AnnHiggins
Ooooh yeah, or tatey cakes.
yes…except when they are delicious deep fried carb loaded slices of deliciousness known as - the potato scallop
I had the most delicious scallops at a pub in country vic. Sea scallops. Delicious.
Chicken Parmigiana and potato cakes are both disgoostin 🙃
chicken parma can be underwhelming more often than not. but potato scallops - c’mon! you take a sliced potato, you douse it in flour and then you deep fry that sucker! what’s not to like?
Back in Sydney they were just scallops but here in Canberra I’d be worried I’d get a mollusk or something.
