It is so refreshing to have someone who speaks clearly and without spin. I hope she’s holding up ok with all the publicity around this tough topic, and I hope we keep seeing more of her.

She’s amazing. Twitter is roasting “the milkshake video”. I’m not sure I can bring myself to watch it given they’ve apparently made the female the perpetrator for fucks sake.

CoolasaCucumber They played bits of it on the ABC yesterday and it’s really weird and confusing. I can understand the challenges in trying to make this kind of content for school students, there are a lot of things that you couldn’t depict in a classroom because a certain segment of the class just wouldn’t be ready for it and for others it might actually be triggering. But these were really dreadful and I don’t think they achieve their aim, which is clearly to simplify complex ideas about consent.

Chookas I’d imagine that was the starting point but the language used was slightly different again and it actually made the overall message less clear and relevant.
