I’ve been seeing a few bits and pieces throughout the day. I imagine CP wanting her gone at the time then keeping his job after recent events added some fuel to her fire. I’m keen to hear everything she has to say. Fabricated evidence would be enough for court I would expect. She should sue the pants off them.

I haven’t followed this but I remember that many AusPost franchisees believed that she was a highly effective CEO and were very angry that she was pushed out.

Yeah, seems like she made australia post more efficient and the liberals wanted to privatise it so were keen for a rationale for that, eg inefficient. They really fucked with the wrong woman.

I was so impressed with her in her 730 interview with Laura Tingle. So measured and calm but absolutely deadly for Morrison. This government is rotten to the core.

I’ve been following it since it all went down. I used to work for Auspost in HQ, we started about the same time I think. At AP, they regularly have town halls and things, and Christine would on occasion run one. I always went when she was speaking as she was a great speaker and always had something interesting to say. I don’t know if I remember this right but one time she spoke about her background. I’m pretty sure she started out as a cleaner, then had a cleaning business, and worked her way up from there.
