So we took our dog camping - was a pretty good success considering she feels it her duty to defend us against any other dog that dares pass by by barking at them.
We didn’t bring her a bed assuming she’d share herself between ours and the DDs air mattresses, however she had a better idea - she settled in our suitcase. I’d get up in the night for the loo and she’d jump up to come with me and I’d be all like ‘get back in your case’.
After the first night we put her blanket over the top of the clothes to save them from too much dog but luckily she’s pretty self cleaning/non stinky and doesn’t shed too much.
Am thinking of converting an old suitcase for her for a permanent bed at home now.
